The vast majority of Sand Creek is gravel or dirt, with just a few patches of pavement. The north west end is paved from the South Platte River Trail to Quebec Street, where the dirt commences.

Very pleasant! A section closed for construction as of mid November 2021 from Peoria (for sure) to Havana (probably).

Lots of construction along this route - which means several detours onto pavement. Wouldn't recommend for gravel riding
